Communication CPD courses for NSW builders
Customer service, negotiation and the conversations that stop a job going sideways.
Communication is an approved NSW CPD topic area in its own right. NSW’s examples are customer service, mediation and negotiation, and any builder who has sat across a kitchen bench from an unhappy owner knows why it counts. Most disputes that reach NCAT started as a conversation that went badly, or never happened.
These courses are not soft-skills theory. They work through the actual moments: the variation the client did not expect to pay for, the delay you have to explain, the scope creep that needs to be named before it costs you. Short scenarios, a decision, and feedback on what that choice tends to lead to.
Each course counts as a 1 point per hour activity under the NSW scheme and is filed under Communication on your certificate. See the NSW builder CPD guide for how the twelve points fit together across topics.
