How to judge a CPD provider
- Is it assessed? Reading a PDF and clicking “complete” proves nothing. An assessment is what makes a course defensible if you are audited.
- What does the certificate record? It should name the course, the CPD topic, how you were assessed, the points and a reference you can check.
- Who wrote it? Material written by people who build gets the site detail right — practical, not classroom-adapted.
- What does it really cost? Compare the price for the points you actually need, after any first-order discount, and check whether unused points expire.
- Beware “approved” claims. NSW does not approve or endorse CPD providers. Nobody can be an approved provider, including us.
